“Visit Greece@Westfield London”

To Εμπορικό Κέντρο Westfield (Ariel Way, London W12 7GF) του Λονδίνου είναι το μεγαλύτερο τέτοιου είδους Κέντρο σε Ευρωπαϊκή πόλη. Στο Κέντρο αυτό, με πρωτοβουλία του ΕΟΤ Βρετανίας και Ιρλανδίας, πραγματοποιείται από σήμερα και μέχρι τις 27 Μαρτίου η εκδήλωση “Visit Greece@Westfield London”.

Στη διάρκεια των ημερών αυτών θα οργανωθεί ένα Ελληνικό Πάρκο (Greek Theme Park) στον ανοικτό χώρο του ισογείου του Westfield. Όλες οι δραστηριότητες που θα λάβουν χώρα εκεί θα είναι ανοικτές στο ευρύ κοινό και θα γίνονται μέσα στο πνεύμα προβολής των ειδικών χαρακτηριστικών της Πατρίδας μας.

Η εκδήλωση “Visit Greece@Westfield London” θα αποκαλύψει στο λονδρέζικο κοινό τους πλούσιους θησαυρούς της Ελλάδας και οι επισκέπτες (μικροί και μεγάλοι) θα έχουν τη δυνατότητα να:

- Learn about the wealth of Greek culture, through digital presentations and participation in educational games.

- Taste Greek delicacies, prepared by Greece’s top chefs (Stelios Parliaros & Christophoros Peskias), try wines presented to them by a trained sommelier, and experience unique cocktails prepared by mixologist Aristotelis Papadopoulos based on ouzo and masticha.

- Climb on a 5m climbing wall and receive information about climbing and other outdoor activities offered by the Greek countryside.

- Play golf on a special simulator made for the Costa Navarino luxury resort and receive information on state-of-the-art golf courses in Greece.

- Sail to the Greek islands on a sailing simulator and learn about sailing holidays in Greece.

- Relax on a Greek sandy beach watching Hollywood blockbusters such as Mamma Mia! and Captain Corelli’s Mandolin, recreating the atmosphere of an open-air cinema in Greece.

- Enjoy beach games such as soccer and volley on the Greek beach.

- Relax with a massage in the specially designed “Spa & Wellness” area.

- Become an archaeologist working on a simulated archaeological dig designed as an educational tool for children.
