Lecture on St. Ephrem
The
Institute for Orthodox Christian Studies, based in Cambridge, has organised a series
of Lenten lectures entitled ‘St Catherine’s Circle’.
On
Tuesday 8 April, between
6.00-7.30 GMT/BST, in person and online, Mariamni Plested (PhD
Candidate in Philosophy at Marquette University; Iconographer-in-residence and
Site Manager, St Seraphim’s Museum and Trust, Walsingham) will give a talk on:
‘St Ephrem the Syrian and theological language‘!
For those who
will attend in-person, the lecture will be followed by light refreshments and a
chance to continue the discussion informally.
