Triodion begins

 
At the beginning of the next week (Sunday 1 February 2026) we begin the liturgical period of the Triodion, with three weeks of preparation, followed by 7 weeks of fasting.
 

It is a real pilgrimage to the great Feast of Pascha. We are expected to practise with boldness and dedication all Christian virtues and to become Christ-like in order to receive and experience the fruits of the spiritual life.
