Why Cyprus?
Yesterday, after the morning Divine Liturgy, at the
Greek Orthodox Church of Sts Peter and Paul in Bristol, we had the opportunity
to welcome our Community friend Mr. Richard Devereux, a Lawyer, Poet and
Philhellene, who gave us a very interesting and informative talk, on “Why
Cyprus?”.
Many people from the local Community attended the
talk, which was the 5th in the series of Cultural Talks for 2026. At
the end of the talk some people asked questions and then the Parish Priest Fr.
Anastasios offered to Richard a poetry book as well as a bottle of wine.
