Νεολαία και Σαρακοστή

 
Το Τμήμα Νεολαίας της Ιεράς Αρχιεπισκοπής Θυατείρων και Μεγάλης Βρεταννίας οργανώνει τηλεδιάσκεψη για τους Νέους της Ομογένειας, με γενικό θέμα: «Σαρακοστή»!

Your Eminences, Your Graces, Reverend Fathers and beloved brethren in the Lord,
 
I hope this email finds you safe and well.
 
Firstly, please allow me to thank you, once again, for your continuous support in promoting the Youth Office’s online classes. We will soon be completing the series of classes on ‘Growing in the faith’ (Ages 6-10) and ‘Contemporary Issues: Christian solutions’ (11-15 & 16-24) and will then commence new classes based on the theme of the Lenten period.
 
Secondly, on Friday the 12th March at 18:00, an online event - dedicated to the young people of the Archdiocese - on the theme of ‘Lent,’ will take place. The online event will consist of two talks:
 
Fr Kristian Akselberg, priest of St Andrew’s in Kentish Town London, will speak on the theme of: ‘Why Attend the services?’
 
Fr Mark Mitchell, priest in charge of St Luke’s in Glasgow Scotland will speak on ‘A Calling to Virtue - How and where do we begin?’
 
The event will be particularly directed towards adolescents and young adults. Please do support this initiative of our Youth Office by announcing the event on Sunday, sharing the attached poster and the relevant links below with the families and young people of your parish.
