Η αφίσα

Τις τελευταίες ημέρες βλέπουμε στους δρόμους του Λονδίνου μια μεγάλη αφίσα που δείχνει ένα νεαρό άτομο και δίπλα την επιγραφή - μήνυμα: «God? Father Christmas? Some young people don't even believe in themselves». Το μήνυμα είναι βέβαια συγκλονιστικό, έχει αναφορά στην καθημερινότητα των μεγαλουπόλεων του δυτικού κόσμου (ίσως υποκόσμου καλύτερα) και έχει ετοιμασθεί με έναν επιτυχημένο τρόπο για να σου τραβάει την προσοχή.

H αφίσα αυτή διαφημίζει βέβαια αυτό που ονομάζεται Prince's Trust. Είναι ένας Φιλανθρωπικός Οργανισμός, υπό την αιγίδα του διαδόχου του Αγγλικού θρόνου, Πρίγκηπα Κάρολου. Η φιλοσοφία του Οργανισμού έχει ως εξής:

«Sometimes life doesn't always turn out how you want it to. For some young people, life is a real struggle and a helping hand is often needed. This is when The Prince's Trust steps in. Youth charity The Prince's Trust helps change young lives in the UK. It gives practical and financial support, developing skills such as confidence and motivation. It works with 14-30 year olds who have struggled at school, have been in care, are long-term unemployed or have been in trouble with the law. Since its launch in 1976, HRH The Prince of Wales's charity has helped over half a million young people. Last year 445 young people from Bristol were helped to change their lives».
