Ματθαίου 28, 20

 

«...ἰδοὺ ἐγὼ μεθ᾿ ὑμῶν εἰμι πάσας τὰς ἡμέρας ἕως τῆς συντελείας τοῦ αἰῶνος»

 

Μια πανέμορφη ζωγραφική τριλογία είδαμε πρόσφατα στο Βόρειο Bristol, σε επίσκεψη στα κεντρικά γραφεία του Διαχριστιανικού Οργανισμού με την επωνυμία «Συμβούλιο Εκκλησιών του Bristol». Είναι εμπνευσμένη από το παραπάνω καινοδιαθηκικό χωρίο.
 
Η εν λόγω τριλογία είναι έργο ακρυλικό σε καμβά, της ζωγράφου Keren Lewis, η οποία το ονομάζει «Response» και αναφέρει περί αυτού τα παρακάτω σχόλια:
 
«Here is my finished response to this season we've been in. Matthew 28:20 has been with me throughout and my battle with acrylic mediums and spray paint is finished, for better or worse.
 
The cracks are meant to be like a crust that has been covering the earth and the vibrant colours are fighting back, a sign of hope in a time of uncertainty. God's message is one of unbending steadfastness and is at the centre of that hope».
