Ποίημα για τη μέλισσα

 

Με πολλή χαρά φιλοξενούμε σήμερα στο Ημερολόγιο Αποδημίας το ποίημα για τη μέλισσα που έγραψε μια 14-χρονη Ελληνοπούλα, που ζει με την οικογένειά στην Αγγλία και φοιτά σε αγγλικό σχολείο, στην τάξη year 9. Της ζητήθηκε να γράψει ένα ποίημα για ένα ζώο που θαυμάζει. Εκείνη επέλεξε τη μέλισσα, κι αφού έκανε μια σύντομη έρευνα, έγραψε το παρακάτω υπέροχο ποίημα (στο οποίο κάθε στίχος φαντάζει σαν ένα αυτόνομο στιχούργημα, με μια εσωτερική δυναμική και με πλήθος πλούσιων εικόνων), για το οποίο συγχαίρουμε την εντάλαντη δόκιμη ποιήτρια από μέσης καρδίας:

Bzzzz bzzzzzz…
Hello beautiful busy bee!
Flying along with the dancing daffodils,
Your buzzing! The utter declaration of the coming spring!
A hope to hear!
 
The pretty, colorful, scented rose’s sea waits
Closing deals only with the finniest in the valley
Sitting gently on their proud hearts,
Getting their precious pollen, beneficial bond for the creation
A trustee of life!
                                                              
Not a moment to loose under the smiling sun,
Performing your tireless divine ritual,
Scouting nectar to offer others, to empower those in need,
Sweet gold, the glory of your achievement
A treasure to taste!
 
Dedicated guardian for your sweet runny treasure,
Safeguarding your honeycomb,
Your self protection enviable!
Who could dare to invade?
A sharp sting to feel!
 
From ancient times till nowadays,
Your life still indistinguishable, simple
Diligence, dignity, developing
An eternal role model to follow,
A wisdom to quest!
 
Constructing perfect hexagons,
Full of life, full of love!
Beehive’s harmony is enviable,
Inclusiveness, obedience to the Queen and a sense of duty!
A desirable science to study!

Come again beautiful busy bee!
