Αστικός Άγγελος

 
Στο παραθαλάσσιο θέρετρο Σεν Ιβς, στην Κορνουάλη της ΝΔ Αγγλίας, κοντά στο σημείο που αναφέρεται ως η άκρη της γης, μεταξύ των άλλων αξιοθέατων, μπορεί κανείς να δει και να θαυμάσει ένα πανέμορφο καλλιτεχνικό έργο.
 

Το ιδιαίτερο αυτό έργο, με τον τίτλο «Αστικός Άγγελος» απεικονίζει βασικά έναν άγγελο, που φαίνεται πως έχει έλθει με σκοπό να παραλάβει μια ανθρώπινη ψυχή... ενώ σε μια γωνία του έργου αποτυπώνεται ένα όμορφο σημείο του λιμανιού και του φάρου της πόλης.
 

Το έργο επιμελήθηκαν οι εμπνευσμένοι Graffiti artists με την καλλιτεχνική ονομασία Urban Gypset. Στην ιστοσελίδα τους διαβάζουμε γι’ αυτούς:

 
Urban Gypset was first a couple of like-minded individuals from 2 opposite ends of the design world. Dominic Wass aka Sketch or Sketch86 an art and fashion graduate and non-stop aerosol artist. Amanda Lawley, a world renown photographic stylist and make-up artist. Both already established in their fields solo, they met whilst working on the same stage set for a local theatre company. Once introduced the couple realised where their worlds could cross. Shortly after they travelled the world painting murals and exhibiting in the Bahamas and Chicago and then again in Wolverhampton Sketch’s hometown. After being inseparable for two years and following the success of the S.I.N exhibition, they relocated to Cornwall, where they opened their first Gallery in St. Ives, Urban House. After 3 years of running Urban House, the sold the Gallery and opened Urban Gypset headquarters in 2015 where it still is today. In 2017 they tied the knot and became Mr and Mrs Wass and officially Mr and Mrs Gypset.
