Η Γλυκύτητα του Μελιού

Το Σάββατο 12 Ιουλίου 2014, στις 6:30 μ.μ., θα πραγματοποιηθεί μια ειδική εκδήλωση από την ομάδα «Actors of Dionysus», στη διεύθυνση 10 Eton Road, London, NW3 4SS.

Η ομάδα αυτή πρόκειται να παρουσιάσει το καινούργιο της CD: «The Sweetness of Honey - Sappho in poems and songs», ως μέρος των εορτασμών για την 21^η επέτειό της.

Το πρόγραμμα της εκδήλωσης θα έχει ως εξής:

6.30 pm - Guests arrive - Drinks and canapés

7.00 pm - David Stuttard gives an introductory talk followed by
poetry (read by Fenella Fielding and Tamsin Shasha) and music
(written and performed by Emma Hetherington and Rebecca Vucetic)

7.45 pm - fund-raising raffle and donations toward the charity.

Who could possibly resist this? Charismatic, sensuous, sublime: Imagine yourself under Sappho’s silver moon, the warm wind of her beloved Lesbos around you, the oak leaves shivering; our poet and her lovely girls your companions. A lyrical delight.
