Ομιλία για την καρδιά

 
Σε μια εβδομάδα από σήμερα, συγκεκριμένα την ερχόμενη Κυριακή το μεσημέρι, θα πραγματοποιηθεί στην Ελληνορθόδοξη Κοινότητα Απ. Πέτρου και Παύλου στο Bristol Πνευματική Σύναξη, με ομιλία που θα έχει θέμα την καρδιά.
 

Ομιλητής θα είναι ο διακεκριμένος Έλληνας Ιατρός Δρ. Ιωάννης Φελέκος. Ο ίδιος αναφέρει για το έργο του:
 
Following the completion of my training in coronary intervention at the Liverpool Heart and Chest Hospital, I have been working as a Consultant Interventional Cardiologist at Bristol Heart Institute since April 2020. My expertise is focused in the field of Interventional Cardiology.
 
I perform coronary angioplasty, including complex interventions (left main, bifurcations) and I am also specialist in intra-coronary imaging (Optical Connective Tomography - OCT and Intra-vascular Ultrasound - IVUS). Moreover, I perform coronary physiology studies, including comprehensive assessment of the coronary micro circulation.
 
I have developed a specialist interest in the management of patients with refractory angina and recently I have introduced the coronary sinus reducer device at the Bristol Heart Institute.
 
In addition to interventional cardiology, I have a broad experience in general cardiology, managing the full spectrum of cardiovascular disease.
